| Peter Clarke CVO, OBE, QPM

Peter advises Olive Group on Policing, Special Events, Critical National Infrastructure Protection and Counter-Terrorism.
Peter joined Olive Group in April 2008 after 30 years with the Metropolitan Police. During his most recent tenure as Deputy Assistant Commissioner he was responsible for the United Kingdom’s domestic counter-terrorist strategy. Peter has been engaged in operations, training and inter-governmental negotiations in Europe, North and South America, Australia and the Middle East. At governmental level he frequently attended COBRA crisis management meetings and was a former commander of the Royalty and Diplomatic Protection Team.
During the 5 years that Peter was in this role, he has played a leading part in many events and investigations, including the Bali bombings, attacks against British interests in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and elsewhere, the response to the July 2005 attacks in London and every major counter terrorist investigation in the United Kingdom, including the murder of Alexander Litvinenko in London in 2006.
Peter attended the Royal College of Defence Studies in 2002. He was appointed Commander of the Royal Victorian Order in 2001, Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2006, and awarded the Queen’s Police Medal in 2003. In 2008 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Laws by the University of Bristol.

Lord Renwick of Clifton, KCMG

Lord Renwick advises Olive Group on business and political affairs internationally.
Lord Renwick is currently Vice Chairman, Investment Banking, of JP Morgan Europe and of JP Morgan Cazenove.
Lord Renwick served in the British Diplomatic Service, rising to become Ambassador to South Africa from 1987 to 1991 and Ambassador to the United States from 1991 to 1995. He is Chairman of Fluor Limited and a director of Richemont AG, Kazakhmys plc and GEM Diamonds Ltd. Lord Renwick is also a trustee of The Economist.
Lord Renwick has a MA Honours degree in History from Jesus College, Cambridge.

Lieutenant General Sir Cedric Delves KBE
Senior Advisor and member of the Ethics Committee
Sir Cedric joined Olive Group in 2005 as a Senior Advisor and is a founding member of the Ethics Committee.
During his career in the British Army, he spent much of his service commanding Special Forces units at every level, and was responsible for the re-balancing of the SAS from domestic counter-terrorism back to other ways of countering risks and threats, particularly those arising from overseas. He also served as a member of the UK Prime Minister's COBRA, which acts in times of national crisis. Sir Cedric worked closely with allied nations, including the post of Senior British Military Advisor to the US Headquarters responsible for the Middle East. He retired from the British Army after 37 years service in 2005 and the last appointments he held were Commander UK Field Army, with a budget of £2.5 billion and responsibility for the Army's collective training resources, and Deputy Commander in Chief NATO Headquarters Armed Forces North (Brunssum).
Sir Cedric was knighted in 2003.

John Donlon QPM MA FSyI
Senior Advisor
John Donlon advises Olive Group on Policing, Port Security, Critical National Infrastructure Protection and Counter-Terrorism.
John joined Olive Group after 33 years with the Police Service where he has been working for the Association of Chief Police Officers (Terrorism and Allied Matters). He is an internationally recognised intelligence and protective security expert for designing security and risk management strategies and policies. He is an expert in development of different counter terrorist tactics and technologies for the physical protection of people and premises.
John is also a highly effective facilitator and negotiator, who uses well developed interpersonal skills and has strongly influenced and shaped central governmental policies over a number of years. He is currently the President of European Association of Airport and Seaport Police, a Director of the International Interport Police, a Fellow of the Security Institute and an Executive Board Member of National Aviation Security Committee.

Dame Glynne Evans DBE, CMG, PhD
Senior Advisor
Dame Glynne advises Olive Group on its work for the British and foreign Governments, with links to the science and technology sectors, International Organisations and NGOs in addition to her role as an advisor to the Director of the Defence Academy and an Associate Fellow of the Royal United Services Institute.
She was a British diplomat for 34 years serving in Buenos Aires, UN New York and Brussels and on secondment to the UN Secretariat and developed particular expertise on the EU, UN and international peacekeeping, conflict and humanitarian affairs on which she lectured regularly at Defence and War Colleges in the UK and overseas. She was Ambassador to Chile and later to Portugal and worked with major British companies to help promote their export interests in those markets.
Dame Glynne holds a PhD in Latin American History from University College London and was a University lecturer in Latin American history before joining the FCO. On secondment from the FCO she was also a Research Associate at the International Institute of Strategic Studies and a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the NATO Defence College. Since retirement, she has been a Research Associate at the Royal United Services Institute and an Advisor to the Director of the Defence Academy. Her interests are military history and music.

Richard Garcia
Senior Advisor
Richard Garcia advises Olive Group on its security strategy for Oil & Gas and Law Enforcement sectors.
He is a current member and former board member of the Energy Security Council and the Senior Vice President at Vanguard Defense Industries.
Prior to Vanguard Defense, Richard served as the Global Security Manager for Shell Oil Company for five years after completing a 25 year career with the FBI from which he retired as the Assistant Director in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Office.
Richard has been the recipient of several awards both while in the Government service and private sector which include the Attorney General's Award for Distinguished Service, the FBI Director's award for the FBI Intelligence Program, the Eagle Award from the National Hispanic Heritage Foundation, White House Presidential Rank Award for a significant espionage investigation and was named as one of the 100 Influential Hispanics in America by Hispanic Business magazine.

Frederick Newton QPM
Senior Advisor
Fred joined Olive Group in October 2006 and is one of the most experienced organisers of port security in Europe and has a global track record in counter terrorist policing and border control.
In a long and distinguished career with the UK Police service, he has acquired a wealth of experience in all major support aspects of port security, from biometric applications and integrating IT counter-measure within a ports policing environment to organising inter-agency co-operation and hands-on management of physical security.
His experience of wider security and policing matters includes disaster response and logistics management for major incidents such as Lockerbie, running covert counter-terrorist agents, membership of teams leading security planning for nuclear power stations and involvement in hostage negotiation work.
During his career he was appointed Assistant Chief Constable and seconded to the Home Office in London as the National Co-ordinator Ports Policing (Special Branch) for the United Kingdom. In this role, he acted as an advisor to the Home Secretary; Secretary of State & Scottish Executive; Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and all 55 Chief Police Officers in the UK on counter-terrorism measures for air and seaports and the Channel Tunnel.
He currently acts as an independent consultant on police systems and management, communications/intelligence management, Special Branch IT projects and proactive counter-terrorism measures at ports and border controls.

Noel Philp
Senior Advisor
Noel Philp joined Olive Group as a Senior Adviser in 2011 and is focused on the oil & gas sector and high risk environments. Noel joined Olive after 20 years of commercial experience in the Private Security Industry and following a 20 year military career. He has extensive security management and consulting experience across Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East, primarily for the oil & gas industry operating in high threat environments. Joining ArmorGroup in 1989 he managed their interests in these regions before becoming Managing Director of ArmorGroup Services Limited's operations worldwide in 1998. In 2002 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for the control and coordination of regional management and service lines world wide and remained in this appointment until the company's sale to G4S in 2008.
