Following a rise in maritime piracy which had resulted in significant financial losses for shipping companies, Olive was asked to design a security solution to protect the personnel and assets of a global logistics company, ensuring effective business continuity.

Solution
Olive designed and implemented an advanced tracking system for seafaring vessels, which included an integrated rapid reaction force component. Working with national governments and coastguards, these teams were able to deploy by air or sea to intervene in the events of an attack or other emergency.

Outcome

• To ensure a comprehensive level of security for the client's personnel and assets, the Group's Training and Security Operations wings worked together to train a maritime security force of 800 guards over a 9 month period.
