Demining & Ordnance Disposal
Olive Group Demining and EOD Services, Clearing the Explosive Legacy of War
Olive has first hand experience of the human and commercial costs of conflict, and has seen the effect that abandoned explosive remnants of war can have, blighting areas for decades, creating human tragedies, and resulting in local economic isolation. Olive has developed a comprehensive demining capability led by a team of experienced experts. This globally deployable capability offers both land and underwater services and is rigorously conducted in accordance with IMAS standards.
Commercial Demining
Increasingly, many of our commercial clients are finding themselves working in remote uninhabited areas where there is a threat from mines or other unexploded ordnance and in response to their requirements. Olive understand that commercial clients require cost time and performance matrices and so Olive's demining services are quantifiable and measurable service, bound by time cost and performance parameters.
Humanitarian Demining
Olive Group recognises that humanitarian demining requires a different approach in order to ensure that a whole area is completely safe for rehabitation. Olive therefore combines demining services with mine education programmes and other appropriate activities in order to enable communities to return to normal.
