Training

Olive Group offers training to fulfil the needs of corporations, executives, NGOs, government, military and law enforcement personnel. Training is offered at mutually suitable locations or at Olive Group's780 acre training facility in Nesbit, Mississippi, USA. Courses are delivered by qualified former Special Forces Instructors who employ combined doctrines and training methodology derived from contemporary operational experience.

Courses in support of Corporations:

Security Awareness Course. Prepares those about to deploy to areas of increased risk. Teaches extensive personal security measures.  

Security Manager Training. Designed to prepare deploying country or project managers to fulfil security focal point roles.  

Introduction to Crisis Management. This is a one day course that instructs regional or country level managers to deal effectively with crisis situations.  

Executive Awareness. Course aim is to enable executives to quickly detect and react to threats in order to maintain their safety in difficult environments.  

Counter Abduction. Higher threat situations demand more extensive training and this course teaches how to mitigate the personal risk of kidnap and ransom.  

Crisis Simulated Incident. Course aim is to condition trainees to the effects of crisis in a controlled environment, responding in an appropriate and safe manner.  

Close Protection. The industry-leading SIA accredited single-site solution, (includes optional firearms high risk module) at the Olive Training Centre, US.

Driver Training. Driving skills courses, including defensive, evasive, 4x4, off-road, armoured cars and breakdown and recovery techniques.

Medical Training. Olive provides First Aid courses at basic, intermediate and advanced levels.  
Surveillance Awareness Training  Teaches students the fundamentals to detect, identify and evade surveillance being used against them.

Guard Force Training   Theoretical and practical training to ensure staff can implement the security requirements of the protected area.

Anti-Piracy Course. Crew training in piracy tactics and counter measures that vessels can take to deter attack and methods to repel boarders.

Courses in Support of Governments:

Counter Terrorist Training. Designed to fulfil the needs of special military and police operation units assigned to a counter terrorist role.

Methods of Entry. Specialist role techniques range from non-explosive forcible capability through to the advanced use of explosives to gain access.  

Close Protection Training. Course meets the needs of special military and police units and Government Agencies assigned to close protection tasks.  

Counter Attack Team Training. Key skills and tactics to become a skilled counter attack team operator in support of a VIP Close Protection Team.

Maritime Interdiction Coxswains Course. Key skills to tactically approach target vessels in order for a successful boarding by arrest teams.  

Maritime Interdiction Course. Delivers key skills necessary to board and gain access to all types of vessels and platforms.  

Surveillance. Surveillance awareness, anti-surveillance and counter-surveillance courses and modules are offered at individual and small team level.
